From 8 to 11 November 2018 the 48th National Congress of the Italian Society of Medical and Interventional Radiology SIRM took place at the Genoa Fair. During the event, Dr. Gianluigi Patelli (Seriate, BG) shared his experience in laser treatment of Benign Prostatic Hyperplasia in a presentation entitled Safety and efficacy of ultrasound-guided transperineal laser ablation for the treatment of benign prostatic hyperplasia: preliminary results.

The Scientific Conference “100 years of Academic Surgery at the Medical University of Warsaw” organised by the Department and Clinic of General, Transplant and Liver Surgery of the Medical University of Warsaw will be hosting many well-known and accomplished experts and specialists from leading hepatology, nephrology and transplantology centres, as well as vascular centres, from both Poland and abroad.
