EchoLaser International Collaboration: Prof. Abou-Taleb’s Clinical Tour in Italy
Over the past few days, we had the pleasure of welcoming Prof. Abou Taleb to Italy for a tour of top centers specializing in EchoLaser TPLA treatments.
📍 In Pisa, at Ospedale Cisanello, he met with Prof. Riccardo Bartoletti and Dr. Matteo Pacini.

📍 In Bergamo, at Clinica San Francesco – Casa di Cura Privata, he was hosted by Dr. Gianluigi Patelli and Dr. Vincenzo Altieri.

📍 Finally, in Florence, at Azienda Ospedaliero-Universitaria Careggi, he joined Dr. Francesco Sessa and Dr. Paolo Polverino, where he also received training on the UroFusion system from Esaote for targeted prostate biopsies and focal therapy.

EchoLaser is now NMPA approved
Elesta announces that the Chinese regulatory authority National Medical Products Administration (NMPA) has approved EchoLaser for use in prostatic diseases. This approval is a major achievement and represents a great opportunity for Elesta (distributed in China by Esaote). NMPA approval confirms once again the robustness of clinical data in urology, where EchoLaser has been demonstrated to be a safe and efficacious alternative to surgery for the treatment of Benign Prostatic Hyperplasia (BPH) and some forms of prostatic cancer.
